Usage
The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. The Fibronectin dimer consists of two disulfide linked monomers of approximately 220 kD, and is present in cells, extracellular matrix, and blood. It possesses at least four binding sites for collagen, glycosaminoglycans, transglutaminase, and a cell surface receptor. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion, tissue organization, and wound healing. It accumulates at the site of injury and, along with fibrin, forms a blood clot to stop bleeding and protect damaged tissue. ELISA: Order BSA-free antibody format for coating.
