CDK2 Antibody - Anti-CDK2 antibody IHC of human breast. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody dilution 1:500.
CDK2 Antibody - Anti-cdk2 Antibody - Western Blot. Rabbit anti-cdk2 was used at a 1:200 dilution to detect cdk-2 in asynchronous HeLa cell lysates (run in duplicate). Approximately 50 ug of lysate was separated on a 15% SDS-PAGE gel. Cdk-2 is indicated by an arrowhead as a 32-33 kD band. Note that multiple isoforms as well as phosphorylated forms of cdk-2 may be detected by this antibody. Primary antibody was reacted at room temperature for 1 h. After subsequent washing, a 1:5000 dilution of HRP conjugated Gt-a-Rabbit IgG (LS-C60865) preceded color development.

Specifications

Description
CDK2 antibody LS-B352 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to CDK2 (C-Terminus) from human. It is reactive with human, mouse and rat. Validated for ELISA, IF, IHC, IP and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues. Cited in 1 publication.
Target
Human CDK2
Synonyms
CDK2 | Cell division protein kinase 2 | CDC2-related protein kinase | p33 protein kinase | p33(CDK2) | CDKN2 | Cyclin-dependent kinase 2
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Human, Mouse, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Delipidated and defibrinated
Modifications
Unmodified
Immunogen
Anti-cdk2 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of the human cdk-2 protein conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH).
Epitope
C-Terminus
Specificity
Antiserum will specifically react with a 33 kDa cdk2 protein from human, rat and mouse tissue. No reaction was observed against other related cyclin dependent kinases. Cross reactivity with cdk2 from other species may also occur.
Applications
  • IHC
  • IHC - Paraffin (1:500)
  • Immunofluorescence
  • Western blot (1:200 - 1:1000)
  • Immunoprecipitation (1:100)
  • ELISA (1:1000 - 1:5000)

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B352 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B352 was determined to be 1:500.
