Functional Assay
Effect of Adiponectin (rat) (rec.) on the phosphorylation of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) in C2C12 cells. C2C12 myocytes were treated with 25 ug/ml for 15 minutes after serum starvation for 24 hours. 100 ug per well of total cell lysate was separated on reduced SDS-PAGE gels. Immunoblot analysis was performed to measure phosphorylation of ACC with an anti-phosphoACC antibody. 1: 25 ug/ml of Adiponectin (rat) (rec.). 2: 25 ug/ml of a FLAG-tagged control protein. 3: phosphate-buffered saline.
