Stock solutions should be prepared at no less than 10 µg/mL in sterile buffer (PBS, HPBS, DPBS, and EBSS) containing carrier protein such as 1% BSA or HSA.

ED50 is equal to40 - 200 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 0.5 - 2.5 x 10^4 units/mg, as determined by inhibition of HUVEC cell proliferation induced by 5 ng/ml of VEGF120.
