Bio-Activity
Fully biologically active when compared to standard. rHusTRAIL-R2 reduced the production of LPS-induced TNF by its ability to neutralize endogenous TRAIL in fresh human PBMC. In this assay, endogenous TRAIL is induced during a 24 hour exposure to LPS (10 ng/mL) but in the presence of rHusTRAIL-R2, TRAIL-induced TNF is suppressed.

Reconstitution
Briefly centrifuge prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
Storage
Store lyophilized at 2°C to 8°C for short term storage. Store lyophilized at -20°C for long term storage. Store reconstituted at 2°C to 8°C for up to 1 week. Aliquot and store reconstituted at -20°C to -70°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
