ADGRD1 is an orphan adhesion G protein-coupled receptor that is transcriptionally upregulated by hypoxia in a Hif1a dependent manner. It is a critical regulator of the response to hypoxia and tumor growth in glioblastoma, and its expression levels are inversely correlated with patient survival. The receptor is widely expressed in human tissues.
