ADGRB2 (brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor 2, BAI2) is an Orphan-B adhesion GPCR with an unknown ligand. Decreased BAI2 expression is correlated with the formation of new blood vessels in a murine ischemic model. Mutations in this gene are correlated with progressive spastic paraparesis and other neurological symptoms. Mutations affect binding to the endocytic protein endophilin A1, which is a potential interacting partner for BAI2.
