ADGRV1 (Very Large G Protein-Coupled Receptor-1, VLGR1, GPR98) is a G protein-coupled receptor expressed in the central nervous system that binds calcium. Mutations in ADGRV1 are associated with Usher syndrome and early onset deafness, and are also thought to contribute to epilepsy and myoclonic seizures. In immunohistochemistry, it has membranous and cytoplasmic positivity in the adrenal gland, the central nervous system, and lower expression in a few additional tissues.
