Recombinant human CD269.

Antibody ANC3B1 binds to recombinant CD269 (but not CD268) in EIA and native CD269 expressed on Raji cell surface. It blocks binding of recombinant soluble CD257(BAFF)trn-muCD8 to recombinant CD269(BCMA)-muIg in EIA.

Five x 105 cultured Raji cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ill of anti-CD269/Biotin at a concentration of 10 ilg/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 2o reagent Streptavidin/R-Phycoerythrin, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 0.58 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/Biotin negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was blocked when cell s were pre incubated 10 minutes with anti-CD269 antibody. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
