Target
Discosoma RFP / Red Fluorescent Protein
Reactivity
Discosoma
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Purification
Filtration, delipidation, salt fractionation and dialysis.
Immunogen
The immunogen is a Red Fluorescent Protein (RFP) fusion protein corresponding to the full length amino acid sequence (234aa) derived from the mushroom polyp coral Discosoma.
Applications
- Immunofluorescence (1:100)
- Western blot (1:1000 - 1:3000)
- ELISA (1:10000)
Usage
Anti-RFP is designed to detect recombinant RFP. This antibody can be used to detect RFP by immunoblotting. Use either alkaline phosphatase or peroxidase conjugated polyclonal anti-RFP to detect RFP or RFP containing proteins on western blots. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher. This product shows optimal performance by western blot. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Presentation
Lyophilized from 10 mg/mL BSA (Protease and Ig free), 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01% Sodium Azide
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 100 µL of deionized water.
Storage
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge product before removing cap. Only dilute immediately prior to use.
