Recognizes human PP2A. Because PP2A-alpha and PP2A-beta catalytic subunits are identical in the region used for the antigen, it is expected that both isoforms will be detected by the antibody.

Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was tested on paraffin-embedded human tissues (liver, small intestine and colon cancer). Recommended working dilution is 8-25 ug/mL when using an HRP-DAB detection system. Positive control: Normal human liver. Antibody diluent: 0.1 M PBS (pH 7.4) containing 1% bovine serum albumin, 1% normal donkey serum, 0.3% Triton X-100, and 0.01% sodium azide. Antigen retrieval: Is not usually required for this target protein, but if low intensity of tissue staining is observed, heat-induced epitope retrieval of PP2A antigen can be done. Staining pattern: Many PP2A-immunoreactive hepatocytes can be found in normal human liver. PP2A staining can be seen in the cytoplasm and has punctate appearance.
