This TR Beta1 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region near the N-terminal of human THRB isoform 1 protein.

N-Terminus

This antibody reacts with human THRB protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with THRB from mouse, human and rat based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with THRB from other sources has not been determined.

This affinity purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~58 kD in size corresponding to THRB by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. This antibody is capable of detecting transiently transfected THRB. Detection of endogenous THRB must be optimized by the end user.
