Target
Human MPO / Myeloperoxidase
Synonyms
MPO | Myeloperoxidase precursor | Myeloperoxidase
Reactivity
Human
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by dialysis.
Immunogen
Myeloperoxidase [Human Leukocytes].
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, purified and partially purified Myeloperoxidase [Human Leukocytes]. Cross reactivity against Myeloperoxidase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.
Applications
- Western blot (1:500 - 1:5000)
- Immunoprecipitation (1:100)
- ELISA (1:5000 - 1:20000)
Usage
This antibody is suitable for western blotting, ELISA and immunoprecipitation. Although not tested, this antibody is likely functional in immunohistochemistry and other immunological methods. Anti-Human Myeloperoxidase may react with MPO from other sources. Anti-Human Myeloperoxidase detects neutrophilic granulocytes and monocytes in blood and precursors of granulocytes in the bone marrow. This antibody may also detect myeloid leukemias of the bone marrow as well as other sites.
Presentation
Lyophilized from 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01% Gentamicin. Do NOT add Sodium Azide
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 100 µL of deionized water.
Storage
Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
