Specificity
Clustered at the fourth leucocyte typing workshop to designation CD59(1). YTH53. Reacts with CD59 transfectants(3). It enhances antibody-mediated lysis by homologous complement(2) Reacts with GPI-linked antigen of 18-20kD size which is broadly expressed on human leucocytes and erythrocytes(2). Putative ligand for CD2.
Applications
- Flow Cytometry (1:1)
- Applications tested for the base form of this product only
Usage
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 ul. We do not recommend using this antibody in lysed whole blood techniques due to inhibition of staining caused by CD59 expression on erythrocytes.
