Beta Amyloid 40 affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus region of AB40.

Specificity
A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with human, sheep, rabbit, canine, bovne, pig, guinea pig, and monkey based on 100% sequence homology. This antibody will not react with AB42. Cross-reactivity with Beta Amyloid from other sources has not been determined.

Usage
Anti-Beta Amyloid 40 antibody is useful for Western Blot and ELISA. Expect a band approximately ~86.9 kD corresponding to the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

Storage
