TCEAL2

transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like 2

TCEAL2 is a member of the transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like (TCEAL) gene family. Members of this family contain TFA domains and may function as nuclear phosphoproteins that modulate transcription in a promoter context-dependent manner. Multiple family members are located on the X chromosome.

Gene Name: transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like 2
Synonyms: TCEAL2, My048, TCEA-like protein 2, MY0876G05
Target Sequences: Q9H3H9 Q9H3H9

TCEAL2 Antibody - Western blot analysis of extracts of mouse brain, using TCEAL2 antibody at 1:3000 dilution. The secondary antibody used was an HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates were loaded 25ug per lane and 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST was used for blocking. An ECL Kit was used for detection and the exposure time was 90s.

TCEAL2 Antibody - 1:100 staining mouse lung tissue by IHC-P. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the antibody for 1.5 hours at 22°C. An HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit antibody was used as the secondary.
