ARSH / Arylsulfatase H

arylsulfatase family, member H

Sulfatases, such as ARSH, hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. They are involved in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and degradation of macromolecules (Sardiello et al., 2005 [PubMed 16174644]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

Gene Name: arylsulfatase family, member H
Synonyms: ARSH, Arylsulfatase H, ASH, Arylsulfatase family, member H, Sulfatase
Target Sequences: NP_001011719.1 Q5FYA8

ARSH / Arylsulfatase H Antibody - Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cells at a dilution of 1:133, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4 °C.The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) .
