1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 9

May transfer the acyl-group from acyl-coA to the sn-1 position of glycerol-3-phosphate, an essential step in glycerolipid biosynthesis. Also transfers the acyl-group from acyl-coA to the sn-2 position of 1-acyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphate (lysophosphatidic acid, or LPA), forming 1,2-diacyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphate (phosphatidic acid, or PA).

AGPAT9 / MAG1 Antibody - Staining HeLa cells by IF/ICC. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 min at 25°C. The primary antibody was diluted at 1:200 and incubated with the sample for 1 hour at 37°C. An Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) antibody, diluted at 1/600, was used as secondary antibody.
