for “CD95 or FASL or CASP8 or CASP10”
CASP10 (Caspase 10) is a cysteine-aspartic acid protease involved in the apoptotic signaling cascade. It cleaves and activates caspases 3 and 7, and CASP10 itself is processed by caspase 8. It also negatively regulates caspase 8 and consequently reduces death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) association. It can inhibit CD95L-induced cell death. Mutations in CASP10 are correlated with type IIA autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and gastric cancer. In immunohistochemistry, it has cytoplasmic positivity in a majority of tissues throughout the body.
