TLE1 (transducing-like enhancer of split 1) is a corepressor in the Groucho family of proteins that interacts with DNA-binding transcription factors that have a variety of roles in cell proliferation, development and differentiation. TLE1 has been implicated in neuronal differentiation, pancreatic beta cell development, and has tumor suppressor and oncogenic functions in various cancers.
