Tumor-associated glycoprotein 72 (TAG-72) is an oncofetal antigen and mucin-like glycoprotein that is expressed on carcinomas of the ovary, breast, colon, lung, gastric cancer, stomach, and pancreas. It is the target of anti-cancer drugs as well as the target of radioimmunoassays to image cancers in vivo. In normal tissues, it is found in goblet cells of the intestine, and epithelia of the prostate and Leydig cells of the testis.
