Specificity

Recognizes Vanilloid receptor like protein 1 (VRL-1). No significant sequence homology is found with VR1 or other proteins. Species cross-reactivity: 100% conserved in mouse VRL-1 and growth factor regulated calcium channel. Only 52% homology with human VRL-1.
