Streptococcus Group A.
Specificity
Recognizes Streptococcus Group A. No immunological cross-reactivity with other Streptococcus Groups. There is potential non-specific cross-reactivity with other organisms such as Streptococcus Group C and Staphylococcus due to the presence of Protein A like proteins (Staphylococcus) and Protein C (Streptococcus C) present on the intact surface of these bacteria. These proteins bind any immunoglobulin.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and IFA. Functions as both capture and detection antibody. ELISA: 1:200-1:1000. Immunocytochemistry, Direct FA: 1:20-1:200. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining. Pre block slide with 10% normal goat serum.
