Specificity
Recognizes porcine Dynorphin A. Blocks with dynorphin 1-17 and 1-8. Does not block other related peptides. Cells are found in the paraventricular and supraoptic nucleus. Fibers are found in the lateral hypothalamus in rat brain of 4% FA perfused colchicine tissue. Species cross-reactivity: monkey, rat, Rhesus monkey and human.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Radioimmunoassays. Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:50-1:1250. Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended. Overnight incubation is recommended. Radioimmunoassay: 1:15000.

Storage
Short term: 4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.
