Specificity
Recognizes mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 (VEGF R2, also known as FLK-1). This Recognizes KDR - human VEGF R2. VEGF R2 is one of three VEGF receptor kinases which plays an important role in angiogenesis. VEGF receptors are characterized by a cytoplasmic split-kinase domain and seven extracellular immunoglobulin domains.

Usage
Western Blot: LS-C45503 detects bands of approximately 200kD and 230kD in HUVEC cell lysates. Immunohistology: This product requires pre-treatment of paraffin sections. EDTA pH 8.0 is recommended for this purpose.
