This purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human IL-9 protein.

This antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-9 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.

This purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. The endotoxin content is estimated to be <10 pg/ul by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 15 kD in size corresponding to native human IL-9 protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Reconstitute in 100 µL of deionized water.
