Immunogen
E. coli-derived rhIL-17F corresponding to aa 31-163 according to Q96PD4.
Specificity
Recognizes human IL-17F. In direct ELISAs and Western Blots this antibody does not cross-react with rhIL-17A, B, C, D, or E.
Applications
Flow Cytometry
ELISA
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. The detection limit is ~25 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Flow Cytometry (Intracellular): 25 ug/ml. Add 10 ul to 1-5x10^5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul. For intracellular staining to detect IL-17F, cells must first be fixed and permeabilized using 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.1% saponin in PBS. This antibody was tested using PMA and Ca2+ ionomycin-treated PBMCs. ELISA (Direct): 0.5-1.0 ug/ml. The detection limit is ~1 ng/well.
Presentation
Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Trehalose
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 200 ul sterile PBS
