This affinity-purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region near amino acids 85-115 of Human EGR-1.

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human and chimpanzee sources based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. This antibody is expected to cross react with EGR-1.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B28 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B28 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
