Crude human synaptic immunoprecipitate.

Recognizes the human pre-synaptic protein, SNAP-25, also known as Synaptosomal-associated protein 25, Super protein (SUP) or Synaptosomal-associated 25 kD protein. SNAP-25 is a 206 amino acid Âpresynaptic protein of ~ containing two domains. Will recognize SNAP-25 fusion protein from COS cells, but not the fusion protein from bacterial systems.Âhas been used to study the distribution of synaptic changes in the hippocampus of patients with medically refractory temporal lobe epilepsy.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3684 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3684 was determined to be 0.2-0.5 ug/ml.
