This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole goat serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding an internal region of Human ARTEMIS (DCLRE1C DNA cross-link repair 1C).
Specificity
This antibody detects a band of the appropriate size in a number of different cell lines. However, it does not detect a band in cell lines that do not express artemis, such as the cell line CJ and in an hTERT line.

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B66 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B66 was determined to be 1.25-2.5 ug/ml.
