Target
Pig GALM / Mutarotase
Synonyms
GALM | Aldose 1-epimerase | BLOCK25 | Galactomutarotase | Galactose mutarotase | Mutarotase | IBD1
Reactivity
Pig
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Conjugations
Horseradish Peroxidase
Purification
Delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by dialysis.
Modifications
Lyophilized
Immunogen
Mutarotase [Porcine Kidney].
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified Mutarotase [Porcine Kidney]. Cross reactivity against Mutarotase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.
Applications
- Western blot (1:500 - 1:5000)
- Immunoprecipitation (1:100)
- ELISA (1:5000 - 1:20000)
Usage
Anti-Mutarotase has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Mutarotase [Porcine Kidney] in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:500 to 1:1 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Presentation
Lyophilized from 10 mg/mL BSA (Protease and Ig free), 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, pH 7.2, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.01% Gentamicin. Do NOT add Sodium Azide
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 100 µL of deionized water.
Storage
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge product before removing cap. Only dilute immediately prior to use.
