Collagen Type III from human and bovine placenta.

Typically less than 1% cross-reactivity against other types of collagens was detected by ELISA against purified standards. Some class specific anti-collagens may be specific for three-dimensional epitopes which may result in diminished reactivity with denatured collagen or formalin- fixed, paraffin embedded tissues. Recognizes most mammalian Type III collagens and has negligible cross-reactivity with Type I, II, IV, V and VI collagens. Non-specific cross-reaction of anti-collagen antibodies with other human serum proteins or non-collagen extracellular matrix proteins is negligible.

Suitable for use in ELISA. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

PBS, pH 7.2, 10 mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.09% sodium azide.

Reconstitute with 100ul sterile dH2O

Short term: store at 4°C. Long term: aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Store undiluted.
