Target
Yeast Carboxypeptidase Y
Reactivity
Yeast
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Ion exchange chromatography
Immunogen
Carboxypeptidase Y (yeast).
Specificity
Immunoelectrophoretic assay gives a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, purified carboxypeptidase Y and partially purified carboxypeptidase Y (yeast). Although not tested, the antibody should exhibit cross-reactivity with other tissues and species.
Applications
- Western blot (1:2500)
- Immunoprecipitation
- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:42000)
Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot (Western or Dot Blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and Conjugation. ELISA: 1:10000-1:42000. Western Blot: 1:2500. Both the antiserum and IgG fractions of anti-carboxypeptidase Y (Baker's yeast) are shown to detect under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE the 61kD enzyme in cellular extracts. Approximately 10 ug of total protein is loaded per lane. A 1:5000 dilution of the primary antibody is used followed by detection using HRP goat-a-rabbit IgG diluted 1:4000 and color development using 4-CN substrate until sufficient color develops.
Presentation
