Hairy cell leukaemia is also antibody positive, while myeloid (granulocytes) and erythroid tumours usually are negative. LCA, the human Leukocyte Common Antigen consists of a family of cell membrane glycoproteins with a molecular mass between 180 and 220 kDa. They are located on the surface of almost all leukocytes.
